Microdermabrasion
At our Atlanta-area office, we offer microdermabrasion as an effective non-surgical treatment to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, and acne scars. Laser Skin Resurfacing
Following years of damage from sun exposure and other environmental factors, the skin tends to lose its healthy glow and wrinkles and fine lines begin to form. Laser skin resurfacing (also called "laser peel") can reverse these damaging effects and enhance the texture of the skin. Acne scars can also be improved with this innovative technique.
The Laser Skin Resurfacing Procedure
Laser skin resurfacing is performed on an outpatient basis and the type and intensity of the laser used is completely dependent on the condition of your skin. The procedure involves the removal of the damaged outer layer of skin using laser technology. As the doctor gently guides the laser over the surface of the skin, layers of damaged skin are carefully removed. Following laser skin resurfacing, Dr. Brian Howard will apply a dressing to the area to encourage healing. Patients should expect a pink and reddish tone to the skin during the healing period.

Restylane®
Restylane® is a non-animal, biodegradable cosmetic dermal filler that consists of hyaluronic acid.
