Dr. Howard was asked to give a presentation on SmartLipo to Atlanta area physicians and staff. In his presentation, the new TriPlex system was introduced for the first time. This new system offers a 1440 nm laser which is a very efficient wavelength for targeting fat tissue while sparing other tissues of unwanted harm. Dr. Howard is on the Speakers Bureau for Cynosure, Inc., and both educates and teaches the art of laser liposuction to qualified physicians in the USA.

Cynosure has recently announced the latest model of their laser liposuction device. The newest design expands the laser housing to three wavelengths from their previous two model version. The added wavelength adds significant efficiency to fat removal while preserving the benefits of blood vessel coagulation and the ability to generate heat and obtain collagen remodeling. Dr. Howard will be one of the first physicians in the country to have this new design.

Fraxel laser has become a workhorse for treating sun damaged and aging skin in our practice. With over two years of experience using the Fraxel Re:Store laser, we have noticed an unexpected but obvious improvement in rosacea in our treated patients.
