With today’s trends of “selfies” and “snapchats”, it’s almost impossible for somebody to look as they do in person through the phone. Instagram photos and other forms of image posting have become the newest social phenomenon since Facebook. With this visual interaction, the rate of personal insecurity has seen a spike of increase.

According to a recent study by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the new form of social media has called for a higher demand in plastic surgery.
